From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom--  Tornado victims in Uniontown continue to clean up and wait for a federal disaster declaration after last week's storm.

County officials were out today letting victims know what resources are available to them and who they need to contact to get it.

About ten homes were damaged when a tornado swept through the area Thursday.

"About all we doing is trying to clean up and get everything back together and see if we can't get this house fixed and back in order," said storm victim Thomas Stapleton.

Governor Robert Bentley is trying to get federal disaster assistance to help storm victims in Perry, Chilton and Jefferson counties.
