Continuing our team coverage.... CBS 8 was on the scene in Luverne this morning as well where several of the students from the school bus accident were treated.

Hospital administrators tell us 5-10 children were treated for their minor injuries at the Crenshaw Community Hospital.

We spoke with several parents and the students who say it was a scary morning but they're just thankful it wasn't worse.

The injuries range from broken bones to whiplash.

7th grader, Shyanne Tillery, says she helped about 20 of her classmates off the bus immediately after the crash because she was afraid it might catch on fire.

"Once we stopped rolling, I just saw people laying down so I helped them up and I was trying to help them out the back of the bus but then the back door closed so I helped them crawl through the window," says Tillery.

Most students being treated in Luverne were released form the hospital by noon.
