Opp Man Dead After Vehicle Pursuit with State Troopers Print E-mail

State troopers say 40-year-old Michael Brandon Nobles of Opp was killed when ejected from his Dodge pickup, which left the road way, overturned and caught fire.

The accident occurred around on County Road 452 in Coffee County 1:30 Monday Morning nearly three miles northeast of Kinston.

Nobles was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say that Prior to the crash, nobles refused to stop for a trooper who attempted to stop him for a traffic violation.

The investigation into the wreck is continuing.
