Update: One Suspect Released After 5 People Found Dead
Monday, 30 January 2012 08:47
Birmingham police say detectives have released a suspect who was taken into custody after five people were found dead in a house.

Authorities say three people were arrested Sunday night, less than a day after the five people were found fatally shot in a rental house.

Police said in a news release that a second suspect, 18-year-old Markell Devante Bell, of Dolomite, Ala., has not been charged in the killings but was charged with robbery in an unrelated case.

Authorities say the third suspect remains jailed.

Police have not released the names of the people who were killed.
