Birmingham police say they have three suspects in custody after five people were found dead in a house.

That's less than a day after the five people were found shot to death in a rental house.

Police say the suspects have been interviewed by detectives and are being held in the Birmingham City Jail as the investigation continues.

There's no word of charges.

Authorities haven't released the names of the three people who were taken into custody or the five people who were killed.
