A faulty body clock may increase the risk of type two diabetes.

British researchers say people with a rare genetic mutation that effects the body clock hormone melatonin are much more likely to develop the disease.

Shift workers have a higher risk of type two diabetes, and When someone's sleep is disrupted for just a few days they tend to start developing symptoms.
