CBS 8 goes to Letohachee in Lowndes County for this week's Golden Apple Teacher.  From Rap artists to English lessons, The Calhoun High School English Teacher Shenitra Stokes-Dees finds lessons in places her students can relate to in everyday life.

She is nominated by one of her former students who says that this teacher is one of the few that cares about the lives and future of her students in such a way that they become fierce competitors in today's society.

Mrs. Dees says that she just wants to forward the wonderful educational experience that she received from her favorite teachers on to the students that come into her classroom.
