This week, CBS 8 news visits Sophia P Kingston Elementary in Selma to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.

Third grade teacher Nancy Stewart comes recommended by both a student and a parent.

She's a teacher with a drive for inspiring her students.

When it comes to teaching, Mrs. Stewart means business and she wants her students to embrace a passion for learning the rest of their lives.
