Golden Apple: Joshua Stone

This week's Golden Apple Award Winner is a World History teacher at Jefferson Davis High School in Montgomery County.

Joshua Stone is nominated by three of his students. They say being in his class is like stepping back in time to the era they are learning about.

Stone has been teaching for six years and has mastered the art of storytelling as a way for his students to remember the topics they are covering.

Stone says that he is honored to receive the recognition for his hard work. He says that he wants his students to learn from the events of the past.
