CBS 8 News visits the home of the Flying Squadron to Congratulate a teacher for the difference she is making in the classroom.

This week's Golden Apple Teacher is Highland Home School's 5th Grade math teacher Tina McGough.

She was nominated by a student who says that she helped him excel in the subject he was struggling in.

Mrs. McGough says that she wants math to be fun and entertaining for her students so that they won't become discouraged with such a difficult subject.
